Job Purpose:  

This position focuses on nursery and Yield Test in Chengdu. Areas of focus include: Supporting all the field activities in the trial locations in Chengdu and all works in Chengdu Research Station.

职位目的：

该职位旨在参与成都研究站的育种及产量测试工作，包括支持成都玉米区产量实验点的所有田间工作以及成都研究站的相关工作。

Duties/Responsibilities

主要工作职责： 

1. Take part in the planting activities for Chengdu corn area.

   参与成都玉米区的播种工作。

 ·        Supervise part-time employees on ear shelling, seed packaging, pollination and  sorting for nursery

        组织劳务人员进行种子授粉、脱粒、精选及包装工作

·        Collect the data in nursery

        负责田间试验数据的收集

·        Assist research scientist to ensure the properties and operation activities in station in safe and efficient manner

        协助育种家安全有效管理研究站

·        Participate in winter nursery work in Hainan

        参与海南南繁工作 

2. Involve in Yield trial in spring corn:

   参与春播区的产量试验

·        Yield trial location hunting and management

        寻找合适的试验田，并进行试验田管理

·        Planting (by hand or by planter) and harvesting by using Pioneer harvesting system for trials in spring corn area 

        通过手播或播种机参与播种活动以及使用先锋收获系统进行收获工作

·        Involve in the score taking for the key traits for all kinds of the trials in Chengdu corn area during corn growing season

        跟踪记录成都玉米区的关键性状表现 

3. Core value and safety:

Educational qualifications and Experience 

教育资质和经验要求： 

·        BS degree or above in agronomy, or plant breeding with the background and/or research work on plant breeding and/or genetics

        本科及以上学历，农学、作物育种或遗传学专业

·        Experience in maize breeding or genetics is preferred.

        有玉米育种或农业行业工作经验的候选人优先考虑

·        Good command of English

Job Purpose:  

This position focus on yield testing and nursery in Chengdu area.

此职位主要负责成都区域的产量试验和育种工作。 

Duties/Responsibilities

主要工作职责：

1. Involved in corn nursery work

   辅助育种工作

·        Experiment design and arrangement for nursery

        实验设计以及育种材料准备

·        Supervise part-time employees on ear shelling, seed packaging, pollination  and sorting for nursery

        负责种子脱粒，包装，授粉和分装，临时工的日常管理

·        Nursery data collection

        数据采集

·        Maintain appropriate inventory of research seeds.

        确保种子库的日常管理和维护

·        Do some winter nursery work in Hainan

        辅助海南南繁工作 

2. Take leadership on Yield trial in Spring corn

   参与春玉米区的产量实验

·        Yield trial location hunting and management.

        产量试验点的建立和管理

·        Planting (by hand or by planter) and field management.

        播种（手播或播种机）和产量试验田间管理

·        Key traits scoring and harvesting using Pioneer harvesting system for trials in Spring corn area 

        数据收集和参与产量试验收获

Educational qualifications and Experience:     

教育资质和经验

Master degree in agronomy, or plant breeding with the background and/or research work on plant breeding and/or genetics. Experience in maize breeding or genetics is preferred. 2 years working experience in breeding and agricultural industry, Fluent written English communication skills;

硕士学历，农学背景或作物育种/遗传相关专业。至少2年育种或农业行业工作经验，玉米育种或作物遗传相关背景的优先考虑。流利的英语书写和沟通能力。
