Cisco DC Switching Introduction（English）:
Datacenter Switching departmentfocus on the future switching needs of enterprisecustomers centered on their enterprise backbone and data center core LAN.Products include Cisco flagship switching platform Nexus 7000 series datacenter switches, MDS 9000Fibre Channel storage switches and Network ConvergenceSystem 5500 routers. DC Switching team at Cisco China Research and Development Center, Shanghai,China, concentrates on next-generation data center switching developments forNexus 7000, MDS 9000and NCS5500.
Responsibilities:
Model/simulate/characterizehigh speed systems, including high speed I/Os, chip packages, printed circuitboards, and system interconnects. Overcome the challenge of ultra-high datarate, wide buses, multiple clocks, and cutting-edge technology. Seize theopportunity for circuit design innovation when faced with the new challengesbrought by the Multi-Gbps serdes products.
Respondto the group's strong focus on present and next-generation products with acommitment to automated processes and tool implementations. Work closely withhardware related function teams such as DE,ECAD,MECH,Power,EMC,Diag etc to deliverhigh quality product.
Requirements:
Proficiency with spice (or equivalent) circuitsimulation, 3D field-solver and time/frequency domain analysis
Proficiency with spice (or equivalent) circuitsimulation, 3D field-solver and time/frequency domain analysis
Solid background on transmission line theory arenecessary
Experience with 2D, 3D or High Frequency FieldSolvers such as HFSS,CST are required
Familiar with ECAD tool, suchas Cadence Concept/Allegro
Experience correlating simulation results withlab measurements using oscilloscopes, TDRs, VNAs, and spectrum analyzers is aplus
Experience with IBIS and SPICE simulation tools.Experience with SpecctraQuest , XTK, ADS, ICS and HSPICE a plus
Fluent English speaking and writing
