Cisco DC Switching Introduction（English）:
Datacenter Switching departmentfocus on the future switching needs of enterprisecustomers centered on their enterprise backbone and data center core LAN.Products include Cisco flagship switching platform Nexus 7000 series datacenter switches, MDS 9000Fibre Channel storage switches and Network ConvergenceSystem 5500 routers. DC Switching team at Cisco China Research and Development Center, Shanghai,China, concentrates on next-generation data center switching developments forNexus 7000, MDS 9000and NCS5500.
Responsibilities:
As key member of Cisco System hardwareteam, the individual will define and design next generation Fibre Channel andEthernet high end switchand router family. Responsibilities include system andboard level specification, schematic capture based on Cadence tool, FPGA designusing Verilog HDL, ASIC/System level bring up in the lab, working with SignalIntegrity group for high speed PCB design and transferring knowledge tomanufacturing engineer into production. The individual is expected to bring upthe system to work with multiple groups including ASIC, DFT, SignalIntegrity, software,Diagnostics and Manufacturing team toresolve any design issues. Positive working attitude and good communicationskills are essential to this position.
Requirements:
Knowledge in high speed circuitdesign.
Familiar with ECAD tool, suchas Cadence Concept/Allegro
Familiar with Verilog HDL orVHDL HDL.
Experience in system levelbring up.
Problem solving requiresoriginality and ingenuity using knowledge gained while specializing infield.
Self-motivation, teamwork andstrong communication skills are essential
Knowledge in FPGA simulationor design verification techniques is a plus
Knowledge inEMC/EMI is a plus
Educational Background：
