The Controls Firmware Engineer is responsible for all aspects of firmware design, including requirements gathering, concept development, firmware development and validation, product integration testing, and manufacturing readiness preparation.  As a Controls Firmware Engineer you will have the following responsibilities: ? Design, write and validate firmware using modern tools and techniques ? Integrate firmware with control hardware and test in a lab setting ? Develop reusable and modular code ? Understand circuit schematics and microcontroller architecture ? Define and manage project development cost and project task scheduling ? Provide input on product design and strategy ? Work with manufacturers and internal/external customers to build and refine products
