Job Description

Job title:   Analyst

Location: Beijing

Start Date: Summer 2018

Our Analysts support senior investment professionals in identifying, analyzing and monitoring investments:

ü  Conduct due diligence on potential target companies:

·       Analyze financial and business information of the target company to conduct projections of market size, competitiveness, supply and demand, investment returns, etc.

·       Evaluate management teams and companies via interviews and site visits

ü  Assist senior staff to develop investment thesis and identify opportunities. Produce presentations materials on general economic trends, individual corporations, and entire industries

ü  Write initial drafts of investment memos in English and Chinese 

ü  Assist in post-investment monitoring by analyzing portfolio companies’ key performance metrics, gathering data or events affecting investment returns, such as stock price, yield, industry risks, and economic influences

ü  Present weekly report to firmwide employees about economic, industrial, and corporate developments obtained from news release, investment banks, government agencies, trade publications, company sources, and personal interviews

Qualifications

ü  Bachelor degree or above.

ü  Fluent in Chinese and English as working languages.

ü  Computer proficiency, especially familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Bloomberg, Wind.

ü  Solid understanding of corporate finance and accounting and strong financial analysis and modeling skills.

ü  Eager to learn how companies operate and create value for investors.

ü  A short internship with Primavera is preferred but not necessary.
