????Job Responsibilities

1.Work closely with Firmware engineers to develop firmware test script for optical modules, using C, C#, Python, or other script language

2.Develop drivers to control all kinds of equipment through GPIB, serial port or USB port

3.Develop Microsoft C# and dot-Net based GUI

4.Generate firmware test reports, including output to Excel file and to database

5.Maintain good software life cycle practice from design, testing, documentation, and maintenance

Jobs qualifications

1.BS or higher on computer science/engineering, electrical engineering, automation, or related area

2.Good programming skills in C#, C/C++, or Python

3.Hands-on experiences with .NET based application development

4.XAML, WPF, Database/SQL development experience is a plus

5.Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscope, logic analyzer etc.

6.Familiar with embedded system and firmware development will be an advantage

7.Strong problem solving ability, be able to find creative solutions to challenging technical problems

8.Good verbal and written communication skills

9.Must be a good team player, self-motivated and able to work independently

10.Must be able to travel to US or other Finisar sites on project base within a short notice.
