This program is for developing digital edge production engineer for Air Products IG China Productions, with three rotations in different jobs inside production and get permanent job in production after completing the rotations as well.

  

 

  

Job Rotations

  

 

  

1. 12 months in Production site (Nanjing, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia); at least 6 month working for shift job

2. 12 months in Operating Service Center (in Nanjing) or Engineering Service center (in Shanghai)

3. 12 months in Shanghai home office

4. Permanent job location will be either Nanjing or Shanghai depending business need and individual’s performance

        

 

  

Tasks expected to complete during rotation:

  

1. Achieve Level-1 (entry level) operator’s level to operate complex Air Separation Plant, include major equipment, DCS operating and basic troubleshooting

2. Understand basic knowledge of Real-time database and it’s applications, such as Aspen Infoplus 2.1

3. Be able to develop simple applications for data-driven optimization and operating instructions within EXCEL (VBA), or Python and R

4. Complete at least 3 MOOC (such as Coursera) course in English (Company pay the cost), expecting 50% work time and 50% personal time on

   1. Management / Career ready program

   2. One computer language (Python or R)

   3. Data Analytics (Big Data, Machine learning)

       

        
      JOB REQUIREMENTS
       

                  

1. Bachelor or Master Degree with <1 years working experiences, with Major of Chemical Engineering, Thermo Engineering, Process Control, Process Equipment or other process industrial related

2. Fluent to use at least one computer language, and have interest on digital applications, both software and hardware

3. Good English level, able to self-learn English content on-line, completed English MOOC course will be plus

4. Have passion for continues learning and apply the new knowledge and skills in real production world
