Responsibilities:

• Perform research as required to specify and develop or enhance your product
• Design, implement, and test software features and capabilities for new and existing products
• Diagnose and debug problems with your product or problems arising when your product interacts or integrates with other NI products

Requirements:

• Graduate or undergraduate students in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related
• Strong work ethic and desire to succeed
• Problem solving skills; enjoys solving technical problems
• Strong foundation and understanding of computers and exposure to high-level programming languages (C/C++)
• Likes to learn about new computer and software technologies
• Understanding of software design and architecture principles
• Thorough knowledge of the following concepts and principles:

1. Operating system components and design
2. Computer system/bus architectures
3. Data structures

• Ability to:

1. Work effectively in a group development environment
2. Take initiative; be a self-starter
3. Manage time efficiently
4. Listen attentively; grasp and engage in fast-paced technical conversation

• English Language Competency and effective communication skills

1. Can clearly and concisely communicate in English so that persons you work with understand you clearly, particularly in technical conversations
