Job description

Marketing department of the European Chamber is responsible for developing and managing Chamber’s marketing strategy, website, newsletters, social media, and overall branding. The marketing intern will work as an assistant to the Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities:

- Assist to prepare weekly national newsletter and bi-weekly Beijing newsletter;

- Assist to prepare Chamber’s Wechat messages;

- Research marketing and communications industry news;

- Assist to manage ‘Chamber Family’ Weibo account;

- Upload news and events to Chamber website;

- Assist to shoot and edit videos for Chamber’s big events;

- Assist to organise Marketing and Communications Forum events;

- Other administrative tasks.

Desired skills & experience

This position requires 3-4 days/week (accept remote working) for 6 month (preferred).

- Fluent in both Chinese and English (working language is English);

- Strong communication skills;

- Tech-savvy and ready to learn;

- Creative and think different;

- Proactive attitude;

- Accuracy and attention to details;

- Familiar with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Wechat, Weibo and Youtube);

- Basic skills of Photoshop, video and audio editing software;

- Basic knowledge of online content management system, for example Wordpress.
