PURPOSE
– Main Objective
The Inside Sales Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate customer quotations on a timely basis. This position is responsible for selecting equipment that both hydraulically and mechanically meets the customer’s requirements. An ISE must have a high level of practical technical knowledge in order to offer the proper equipment while minimizing costs in order to maximize order attainment. The Inside Sales Engineer will have an a strong knowledge of hydraulics, Ruhrpumpen products, key supporting products and application engineering processes. |

PURPOSE
Completes assigned engineering/technical tasks under the direction of Senior Project Engineer and/or leadership. Entry level technical understanding of vertical and horizontal centrifugal pumps. Assists project managers, customers, and vendors as to the proper application, specification, components and special features of a particular job for customer’s efficiency and reliability through published product materials, product training and personal contact.
