Placement Executive

Essential Functions

·         Prepares spreadsheets and other documents on time to support analysis of Marsh accounts

·         Combines & completes various team management reports on time every month

·         With supervision, assists Placement colleagues to prepare market analysis, insurance summaries etc. for supporting client facing brokers

·         Should be familiar with various IT systems which related to billing or account handing

·         Follows up bad debt and outstanding reports every month, and remind & assist Placement colleagues to clean

·         Placement Executive in reviewing existing client insurance and risk programs.

·         Reviews coverage specifications and policy wording to be submitted to carriers/underwriters for accuracy

·         May obtains rates from insurers

·         Prepares and maintains insurance comparison table

·         Delivers submission to carrier/market

·         Builds and maintains relationships with underwriters and peers.

·         Requests and oversees follow-up for changes from underwriters.

·         Schedules carrier/market presentations

·         Monitors the renewal and binder control system

·         Checks draft & final policies and endorsements

·         Maintains carrier/market contact at appropriate levels needed to execute effectively and assist the Placement Manager

·         Maintains contact and relationships with Client Team to effectively service client needs

·         Maintains team portfolio, reporting and filing system

·         Understands and complies with Marsh Compliance and Transparency Standards

 

Requirements:

·         Has basic understanding & knowledge of Non-Life insurance

·         Good communication and English skills

·         Good team work sprit and good at various internal reports & numerical analysis

·         Bachelor or above
