Position: Operational Data and Analytics Architect 运营数据和分析架构师

Job Description

The emergence of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence software and platforms will undoubtedly have a profound impact on our world and economy.  One of the major opportunities for improvement in manufacturing is in operational analytics – of which Emerson has an unmatched portfolio and a unique advantage to lead core process industries through digital transformation.  This role will be a critical piece in accelerating our depth of knowledge in data and analytics and help complement our strengths including industry expertise, breadth of portfolio with intelligent sensors and control systems, and partnership level relationships with our customers.  This position will be expected to partner with sales leadership in China and will set strategic direction on how to leverage Emerson’s KNet Analytics software to transform the way customers manage site reliability and improve overall efficiency of their operations.   

Job Responsibilities

·       Lead in KNet Analytics architecting for China, including support of proposals, detailed design, engineering, and implementation

·       Manage opportunity funnel and drive growth for Plantweb Analytics in China

·       Support country project pursuit and sales development teams as the data and analytics expert

·       Capture vision of customers and develop pragmatic strategy of implementation and design based on expert level knowledge of KNet Analytics capabilities to address challenges

·       Qualify opportunities based on understanding of customer goals and internal capabilities, and partner with customers for long-term investment and enterprise deployment

·       Help customers progress towards a stronger emphasis on computer tools and statistical and machine learning techniques to develop high-performance analytics capabilities

·       Translate massive and complex unstructured data into meaningful insights that drive action

·       Produce predictive models that solve a broad range of operational problems across various types of equipment and processing units

·       Contribute to the development of more effective digital transformation strategies with our customers – providing them a more sustainable and competitive future

·       Modernize outdated and reactive processes with the implementation of analytics to provide unprecedented visibility into operational performance

·       Support customers after implementation to ensure continued value from solution

Basic Qualifications

·       Master’s degree in Enterprise Business Analytics, Software Engineering, Intelligent Systems, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or relevant fields

·       Fluent in the following domains of operational analytics

 Decision Trees

        Position: Application Engineer 应用工程师

工作地：北京

Job Description

Provide timely, accurate and quality engineering and/or application review and accurate quotation and support to representatives, sales offices, Design Institution and customers, for pre- and post-sales.

Job Responsibilities

·       Learn customer truly requirement, provide or review the industry related solutions and generate project quotations for major strategic projects.

·       Support Emerson Process Management direct project orders in the following areas:

- Preparation of OPS and manage Change Orders to ensure that they are clean for processing

- Maintenance of customer records such as order quotations

- Provide project order hand-over to Order Administration and Project Management organizations

·       Participate in local and overseas project technical clarification meetings.

·       Maintain and upkeep price databases for non-standard and buyout products.

·       Liaise with global factories on special applications, engineering, non-standard product sourcing, delivery, etc.

·       Provide technical support to Order Administrator and factories in the order fulfilment process.

·       Provide product and sales tools training to Sales and Applications Engineers from both representative and sales offices.

·       Coach and manage the Representative application engineer to get accurate technical information and provide suitable specification.

·       Support and/or conduct customer/representatives engineering training, seminars and new product launches.

·       Support sales team in achieving annual sales objectives and goals.

Basic Qualifications

·       Master in Engineering degree is required.

·       Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin.

·       Occupational Health and safety acumen
