• 材料工程师/经理（碳钢-硕博）

Your Role

1. Take the lead of developing analysis methods and building up expertise

1）Build-up expertise in mechanics of material failure of lab testing methods (Fatigue, torsion, tensile and other tests), and establish corresponding models

2） Build-up expertise in understanding mechanics of wire deformation in different processes (WWD; C&B, and etc.)

3） Correlate process data and lab testing results.

2. Participate in projects and giving expertise. Lead the problem solving process/projects and give value-added advices for customers. Ad-hoc giving technical assistance in related domain

1）Work independently in a subproject of development or problem-solving related to core expertise or test development (adhesion, fatigue, electrochemistry, materials manage progress and report on results and act as an active member;

2）Assemble and coordinate the temporary team for complex problem solving;

3）Give value-added advices to customer according to analysis results and share results within the temporary team

3. Be the model for routine test and be capable to Coach junior technicians in their daily job in lab or core expertise team on non-routine test (10 %)

1）Good EHS shape with 0 LTA in daily work.

2）Standardize the routine test including the sample preparation, and be the example for other colleagues on routine test;

3）be capable of training other colleagues on how to handle non-routine test

Your Profile

1. Master or above degree in study of carbon steel microstructure related areas (Material related majors)

2. Strong knowledge in Fe-C alloy metallography, carbon steel microstructures and its mechanical properties.

3. Willingness to do in-depth study in carbon steel characterization and processing technologies.

4. Open-minded and inspired to innovation, have ambitious to lead technical projects.

5. Good communication and reporting skill in both English and Chinese;

6. Good team work and coordination skills.

 

• WWD Process Engineer

 

Your Role

1.  Leading the project of WWD and lubricant team

    - lead the technical feassibility study of new ideas
    - define and lead the discovery and incubation of technology project, develop the final business case
    - define and lead the development project together with project owner, including, project defing, planning, cost control, regular progress follow up, daily communication, reporting...

2. Build up the connection with supplier or other technologist partners to bring new capability of lubricant / wire deformation knowledge / capability into Bekaert:

    - build the external resouce network
    - develop the potential connection actions
    - organize regular communication activities
    - join the related activities with wire drawing / lubricant, e.g. expo, seminar, visit ...

3. Drive the process technology innovation in WWD/Lubricant domain together with team leader

    - create new ideas of lubrication and wire deformation to drive the cost saving, product quality or processability improvement
    - Collecting the innovation sources by regularly reading patent, literature, other informations, regularly summrize and share all the learnings with team
    - increase the capability of innovation by self-learning or regularly join the activities of innovation trainings / workshops...

4. Expertise development

    - reinforce the knowledge / expertise level in WWD / Lubrication by continously self-learning
    - support the team leader or process owner to organize the regular expertise review meeting according to the roadmap defined
    - lead some items in the expertise road map to build the related expertise

 

Your Profile

    - At least master degree of material science or metallurgy related background
    - Good skill of project management
    - Good knowledge of materials and metallurgy, graduate programs are best related to metal materials
    - Good level of written and spoken English
    - Strong communication and presentation skill

 

• 工艺工程师(热处理)

 

Your Role

1. Lead ISC projects and key cluster of PTT

- Design and lead projects and key cluster, manage progress and report on results

- Evidently show capability on project management and applying statistical & management tools

2. Transfer technical expertise to process engineers & technicians in own domain

- Evidently take initiatives to transfer know-how and knowledge to process engineers & technicians

- Train the process engineers & technicans on way of working, project management and analytical tools

- Evidently develop and improve the competence of process engineers & technicians

3.  Develop implementation plans and closely follows up all aspects of the implementation plans related to processes, equipment and way of working

- Reflect on breakthrough processes that may lead to new applications together with process engineers

- Interpret the results and formulate conclusions & new ideas, taking the impact on other processes into account

- Report and discuss the results with superior and the customers involved

4. Establish know-how database

- Designs test setup and coordinates their construction on pilot or production scale

- Organize and coordinate the execution of the total test setup and make adjustments as necessary

- Document everything and ensure transfer of knowledge

5. Give assistance to internal customers and other SC plants

- Offers technical assistance to different plants

- Coordinate info transfer among plants

6. Innovation

- Develop and introduce effective processes and procedures for production process improvement

Your Profile任职要求：

 

1. Master degree of mechanical engineering, material engineering, mechanics or Non-graduate degree holders with at least 5 years’ experience. 硕士学历，机械工程、材料工程及力学相关专业。本科学历至少有5年相关经验。
2.  Strong inter-personal skills (communication, influencing), 6 sigma training, green beltand, and strong project management skills. 较强的人际交往能力（沟通、影响力），进行过6 sigma培训及绿带培训，有较强的项目管理能力

• Technical Project Manager - Mechanics & Simulation

 

Purpose of the Job

• In order to support new product development and serve the customers better, Bekaert wants to develop expertise in tire simulation in PAT to be able to develop deep application knowledge about steel cord in tire applications.

   

Your Role

• Simulation of steelcord in the tire

• Develop the methodology to simulate steelcord in various kinds of tires.  Create knowledge of interaction between steelcord and tire performance characteristics. Generate insights to guide steelcord innovations.

 

• Simulation of steelcord in tire-making process

• Apply mechanical analysis or FEM simulation to identify and understand the steelcord properties that are critical to the ply quality during the tire-making process.

 

• Project support

• Support various BARDEC projects by mechanical analysis and simulation.

   

Your Profile

• Ph.D. (or MSc) with strong mechanics background and FEM experience; knowledge on tire application is a plus.

• Eager to learn, hard-working.

• Strong teamwork spirits and good communication skills.

• Proficient in spoken and written English.
