Position: Business Analyst
Report to: Great China Application Manager

Responsibilities:
• Business process re-engineering-Able to assist the assigned process ow
ners, experts and end user with the redesign of the business processes support
ed by the Oracle ERP application. Responsibility includes helping the business
 to understand the functionality and potential limitations of the Oracle 11I s
uite of products.
• Requirement definition-Consults with customers in cross-functional are
as to identify business needs. Assists customers in developing well-defined re
quirements to meet those needs and understand the cost or value to the organiz
ation of meeting the requirement.
• Solution design-Ability to translate solutions into comprehensive syst
ems designs.
• Gap analysis-Ability to understand the user requirements and the varia
tion to what can be achieved with the system design. Includes the ability to a
nalyse the cost of the alternative solution in line with the business returns 
generated by the user requirement.
• Application configuration-Ability to configure the Oracle ERP applicat
ion (Oracle manufacturing/project accounting modules) to meet the users define
d requirements.
• Application testing.
• End user support-Work with the end-users to ensure that all problems, 
either system or process related are resolved to an agreed standard.

Requirements:
• Experience with Oracle 11I application. Core competency with Oracle ER
P manufacture module. Experience with supply chain module is a strong plus.
• Courteous, helpful and cheerful approach to working with staff, custom
er and suppliers.
• Attention to detail, diligent orderly approach with ability to make in
formed decisions and recommendations.
• A person with initiative, a proactive outlook to their work and an inn
ovator.
• Independent thinker and self-starter within a tam context.
• Ability to function in a matrix organization.
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels to achieve aims.
• Build rapport with all key relationships.
• Able to communicate clearly in the English, both written and verbal.
• University degree, major in information system or related, Master degr
ee is plus.
• Had experience in Oracle ERP application implementation and supporting
, at least 3 years.
• Experience with project management will be an advantage.
• Have basic knowledge of Oracle DBA and PL SQL

• Outstanding capacity for personal adaptability.
• Can play the role in 2 to 3 months.
• Be application consultant to handle implementation for Oracle function
s, especially at manufacturing or project accounting module.
• Qualified to provide post support to end user.
• Above average capacity for self-learning.
