The Windows Live Mobile office in Shenzhen is one member of Microsoft Central R&D group which was formed in June 2005. The mission of Windows Live Mobile is migrating MSN/Windows Live services and products including IM, Mail, Space and Search from PC to Mobile. Job Title: Program Manager Intern (PM) Quantity: 2~4
Role We are looking for a Program Manager Intern to own parts of our products, work with technical and marketing teams to define requirements, write functional specifications, and then manage projects to deliver products that meet our customers’ expectations on time. You will need passion for creating user-friendly services for mobile devices, excellent written and oral communication skills, a strong drive for results, and the ability to influence others without having direct authority.
Responsibilities · Own one or more feature areas. Gather requirements, write specs and then drive the project, ensuring that the end product meets the expectations of customers. · Coordinate communication between the wide range of teams involved in our projects in Redmond, Shenzhen and other parts of China. Education and Qualifications · Working on a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. · Strong mobile user empathy and an interest in UI design. · Ability to author functional specifications that define scenarios, use cases, and prioritized requirements · Ability to work well in cross group situations. · Experience in mobile application software projects, web service development, and a solid understanding of the unique challenges in the mobile space is highly desirable. · Outstanding communication skills, strong oral and written English is a priority with the ability to communicate orally in Mandarin highly desirable. Job Title: Software Development Engineer Intern (SDE) Quantity: 2~4
Role: · SDE intern; · This position is based in Shenzhen, China; · On mobile application service development field or Symbian Platform Development;
Responsibilities: · Building components and implementing features for diverse mobile platform · Implement unit tests for features · Work closely with other developers and PM · Close collaborating with the test team to ensure as much of the code is testable by means of automation.
Education and Qualifications:
· Major in Computer Science or related technical equivalent is required; · Great passion to ship product in diverse mobile platform; · Understand with OOA and OOD; · Proven experience in C /C++ code development; · Familiar with C#, .Net, , TCP/IP networking and multi-threaded software development on the Windows platform; · (Need to be qualified with at least one of two items above) · Database experiences in T-SQL, writing stored procedures, triggers · Technical experience with mobile client development is a strong plus (Specially for Symbian) · Very strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deal with complexity in a fast-paced environment · Have strong sense of communication and teamwork spirit · The ability to work in a self-directed manner and have a strong drive for results. · Outstanding written and oral communication skills, strong oral and written English is a priority with the ability to communication orally in Mandarin highly desirable.
