Responsibilities:
The Advanced Technology Center (ATC) located in Beijing, China is looking for a talented and highly motivated software developer to work on an exciting search-related project which will significantly improve MSN customer experience. This project is a joint effort of ATC, the MSN Shopping team and Microsoft Research Asia to deliver cutting-edge technologies in the next-generation MSN Shopping service.
As a developer in this team, you will be working closely with our program management and test teams in both Beijing and Redmond on creating innovative features, building end-to-end user experiences, and driving product development from conception to release.
Qualifications:
Passion for technology and innovation
Solid computer science background
Strong design/coding/debugging skills
Strong learning and problem solving ability
Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
A track record of high performance as well as a good team player.
Proficiency in C++ is required. Proficiency in C# and .Net technologies (or web page design) is a big plus
A BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical equivalent is required, and MS degree is preferred
Software development experience with full release cycles of major software or Internet products is preferred
