Scope

Create the IT infrastructure of PRISMA Shanghai Trading Co. Ltd. and intranet 
application for support/coordination of internal departments


Company profile

PRISMA Engineering is one of the most competitive players in the telecommunica
tion market providing load & stress testing solution for 2G, 3G and WiMAX tech
nologies. The Chinese branch, based in Shanghai, is the focal point of the com
pany growing, due to the huge expansion of the telecom sector in the country.



IT infrastructure project

The main purpose of the IT infrastructure is to support/coordinate data sharin
g and workflow of different departments in the company organization: sales, pr
ocurement, R&D, helpdesk, accounting, administration.
The project should also respect high-availability / fault tolerance requiremen
t and have to be based on open-source software available on internet.

Candidate profile

The profile required for the internship should meet the following criteria:
Technical requirement
·         Linux system administration, network configuration, clustering.
·         Apache web server: installation, configuration.
·         C, C++ software development: GCC compiler.
·         HTML, PHP, Java, Javascript software development.
·         Application server Plone or Zope: installation, configuration, prog
ramming.
·         Database management, MySQL or Oracle.
Language skills
·         Fluent English (preferred)

 

Location, starting time and duration

The internship can start as soon as possible at PRISMA Shanghai Trading Co. Lt
d. site located in Shanghai, office 908, Far East Mansion, 1101 South Pudong R
d.
The estimated duration of the internship is 6(six) months, including:
·         Infrastructure design
·         Hardware and open-source software installation and configuration
·         Intranet software development
·         Prototype testing
·         Intranet deployment
·         Final testing

After the internship period PRISMA Shanghai Trading Co. Ltd. will consider the
 possibility to sign a contract with the candidate for long term employment.
