Job Description:
-This is an engineering position in the Tellabs 7100 Element Management group.
-The position requires software development experience using object-oriented methodology.
-Job expectations include requirements analysis and breakdown to high level designs, writing detailed design documentation, and developing code in C++ and Java.
Requirements:
-Must have working knowledge of UML and be proficient in either C++ or Java programming.
-Candidates with experience in both programming languages are preferred.
-Candidates should also have experience or knowledge in many of the following areas: relational database design, PL/SQL, networking protocols (TCP/IP), security protocols (SSL, IPSec), CORBA, distributed architectures, multi-threaded programming, Windows and UNIX operating systems.
-Bachelors Degree or above
