We are looking for an experienced team leader to build up a competent mechanics team for NRC/AD/Beijing. In this role you will be responsible for establishment of the team and management of the mechanics related projects. In addition to project planning and execution, you will act as a team leader taking care of communication with internal and external partners.
Requirements:
- Experienced mechanical designer of mobile consumer electronics - Familiar with 3D modeling, experience in Catia V5 - Familiar with injection molding and sheet metal manufacturing technologies - Basic knowledge of mobile phone HW technologies (e.g. batteries, displays, input devices) - Familiar with local mechanical suppliers and subcontracting manufacturers - Team leader skills - Good English and fluent China

Advanced Development (AD) is a product-oriented unit in Nokia Research Center (NRC). It has been established to seek for technology breakthroughs and identifying new business opportunities. This is to create complete commercial solutions for the needs of Nokia business units. AD refines the results of NRC research projects and innovations. The key target is to enable more first-in-the-markets, service and technology solution deliveries and IPR, enabling favourable market position.
