Responsibilities:
- Knowledge and development of configurable & automated test harness provides testing and bug reporting to tool chain, libraries, kernel, applications, or driver team.
- posts test results externally, so customers can understand the state of everything makes customers feel comfortable using ADI\'s open source tool chain, libraries, kernel, applications, or drivers provides customers test infrastructure to ensure reduction in customer test responsible for ensuring uClinux system (compiler, kernel, libraries, driver, applications) meets defined performance metrics & assists development teams in identifying
Skill Requirements
- Bachelors Candidate in EE or CS,
- Experience in Embedded systems
- Required to organize, test activities starting from requirements review to test execution.
- Helping in defining requirements, test cases/test code and helping in debugging Device drivers on embedded platforms Writing test plans for multiple subsystems, multiple releases Tracking all activities related to test including test development and test execution activities for multiple releases Experience in Automation of test cases, report generation, preferably gained within a development environment Understanding of source code control systems (cvs) is essential previous experience of Unix, Linux and Windows operating environments understanding of expect, perl and other scripting languages which can be used for test automation Working knowledge of C, C++ and Assembly Previous experiences in design, code, test and debug of device drivers on OS based embedded systems is a huge plus Ability to plan and organize testing of multiple, parallel, simultaneous releases Understanding of Testing Methodology, testing practices, Release Maturity definition, Software Lifecycle models
