Job Description:
Statistician in R&D Statistics Group. Statistics group provide statistical support to every R&D groups by using SAS, SPSS, S-Plus, LISREL and AMOS. A high-qualified statistician will help drive innovation by collaborating with researchers on the use of state-of-the-art experimental designs, statistical analyses and data collection systems. Statistician will partner in the communication of key learning to customers and managers.
Important Responsibilities of Job:
Use strong analytical capacities to turn consumer and laboratory data into actionable business recommendations. Drive China business through development and application of Statistical/IT tools to Consumer Research problems with heavy emphasis on Statistical techniques and modeling. Enabling the organization through training to use these tools.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have a master's or Ph.D degree in a technical field such as Statstics and or any related.
1、have knowledge on experiment design, linear and non-linear models, categorical data analysis, non-parametric analysis, and multivariate data analysis.
2、be able to quickly learn applied statistical methods based consumer research analysis techniques.
3、Communication. This role frequently involves oral and written communication to various functions and researchers. Written communication skills are critical. Good English communication skills (written and verbal).
4、Proven expertise in at least one of the common statistical programming languages (SAS, SPSS or S-Plus). Working familiarity in the others is desirable.
5、Self driven leadership. This person needs the ability to work independently and take a leadership in a small group as needed. While some training will be provided, ability to "self train" and learn on the job is required.
