Overall Scope/Impact
The Data Programmability team is responsible for making the Microsoft data platform the premier environment for developing data aware applications and services. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about working with data access technologies. As a member of this team you will test the Microsoft Data Access Component (MDAC) technologies.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include test development and automation, tools/harness development, problem isolation and analysis, cross-discipline communication, debugging and investigation, detailed test planning and design, code coverage analysis, fuzzing and fault injection. If you are self-motivated, creative and passionate about advancing the test engineering discipline and want to participate in the development of data platforms, you will find this position challenging and rewarding.
Qualifications
Solid programming, design and testing experience required. Experience with XML, Database/Data Access knowledge and C++/C# is preferred. Knowledge of model based testing, code analysis tools and other automated testing tools is a plus. Good communication skills and ability to work closely in a team environment are required.
