RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for all aspects of construction health, safety and environmental matters undertaken by Construction Operations
2. Responsible for all aspects of Commissioning Operations site involvement in relation to HSE matter
3. Ensure that I.R. resources are in accordance with Project Requirements and approved budgets.
4. Provide resources and assistance to all other Operations of Foster Wheeler and affiliate companies as agreed with construction team
5. Promote Construction & Commissioning health, safety and environmental management within the organisation to continually improve performance and achieve Company objectives
6. Compile and analyse accident and incident statistics on a monthly basis
7. Establish working relationship and maintain communications with client and contractor HEALTH, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENTAL AND INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS representatives
8. Carry out and report on
Construction & Commissioning health, safety and environmental management audits.
9. Investigate incidents and accidents as required and formulate reports/recommendations
10. Initiate health and safety plans and programmes for projects
11. Provide a site health, safety and environmental service for smaller projects on a visiting basis
12. Take part in updating and revising the Construction health, safety and environmental policies as necessary.
13. In conjunction with the Resident Construction Manager, ensure that the procedures and controls required on Site to follow the terms of Law and Regulation of P.R.C.
14. Assist in the process of prequalification and selection of Contractors
