1. General Summary of Job Purpose:

Responsible for production supports and improvement for production equipments, Ensure timely deliver of individual and department objectives.

2. Critical Function of the Job:

-Troubleshooting and maintaining production equipments: perform engineering duties such as installation, operation, and maintenance all equipments (daily); safety protection and check (monthly)
-Undertakes effective configuration and performance control of production equipments: reviews manufacturing system/equipment performance and take corrective action with efficiency (weekly); reviews and follow up EH&S and Safety related to the equipment (monthly); reviews SOPs and ISO 9000/14001 procedure (yearly)
-Improve the performance of production equipments: seeks and recommends improvement opportunities and set “SMART” objectives (randomly); pursues the continuous improvement opportunities with QIT and project management process (weekly); supports other improvement opportunities with teamwork and seeks supports from others if needed (randomly)
-Keeps pace with new technology and supports expansion: supports expansion – Design and make the production using fixtures and tooling (randomly); keeps pace with new technology related to testing, polish equipment (randomly)

3. Must-be Competencies:

-Solid knowledge of equipment mechanical
-Knowledge of equipment control.
-Familiar with VB, QB, C and parasol-II programming.
-Familiar with process/quality/cost control and improvement tools such as SPC, DOE, FMEA, seven quality tools, MCV,
-Familiar with maintenance management and related tools such as 5S and TPM.
-Familiar with QIT and project management process.
-Familiar with position related knowledge of ISO9000, ISO14001, ISO18001 and TL 9000.
-Good written and oral English communication

4. Required Competencies:

-Have management knowledge and skill.
-Have some knowledge of IT system
