JAS Shanghai has an immediate opening for an experienced Data Analyst for developing software applications to support content management and publishing of airline flight manuals and technical manuals. Main Responsibilities
·Review the structures of technical documents in Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, and other desktop publishing.
·Revise the templates of the above documents so that they can be used to adjust the structures of the above documents in consistent styles.
·Re
-orgainize the above documents in consistent styles in order to convert them to SGML/XML.
·Develop/enhance document conversion procedures to convert the above documents to SGML/XML using Omnimark or any conversion software.
·Convert the above documents to SGML/XML.
·Edit the results from the conversion procedure using an SGML/XML editor such as XMetaL or Epic to correct any conversion mistakes.Minimum Requirements

B.S. in
C.S.,
E.
E. or related field.
·Familiar with desktop publishing software such as Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker.
·Experience in creating and using templates of the above desktop publishing software.
·Basic knowledge of SGML/XML and DT
D.
·Basic knowledge of document conversion scripting language such as Omnimark, a plus.
·Experience with an SGML/XML editor such as XMetaL or Epic, a plus.
·Meticulous in handling technical documents.
·Aviation background, a plus.
