-sales Engineer (TPC)Job description:The TPC is responsible for developing and managing technical relationships with sales teams in China and with key Reseller partners. Responsibilities will encompass technical knowledge of select storage management backup/recovery and archiving products. As a Champion, this person will report into IMSG headquarters and serve as liaison and technical evangelists into the country sales teams and their prospective customers. -sales activity to foster knowledge of the products to improve sales traction and market share growth. They will interact with IMSG engineering when required. The TPC documents technical solutions in the form of whitepapers and continues to be the primary technical resource for the in country field. At times this person may be required to provide assistance to other Asian countries when necessary. Responsibilities:Technical knowledge on NetWorker backup/recovery products. Product Training Planning and Reporting Software updates and support coordination Providing product roadmap presentations Potential Beta testing of new releases Support in country sales teams on solution applicability Technical support for Sales Account Managers. Technical product presentations, performance, roadmap/release dates. Deep knowledge of NetWorker and other select products and application Coordination between headquarters other partner activities IMSG Marketing Support Integrated application demo construction and execution Technical whitepapers and collateral Trade show and partner conference support Technical support for new products Skills Required:BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience 10+ industry experience with 3+ software development experience Programming background in C/C++ and/or Java Strong written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with project management Strong customer facing skills with ability to influence Ability to work on a cross functional basis with sales, partners, marketing and engineering Must be a self starter and team player
