-multiplayer online (MMO) entertainment with offices in Aliso Viejo (Orange Country), California, and Shanghai, China is now looking for an Production Assistant to join our dynamic and expanding organization based in Shanghai.Job summary:The ideal candidate will have exceptional executive assistant skills: organization, prioritization, administration, well spoken, poised, reliable, responsible, detailed
-oriented and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Candidate should have a general knowledge and sincere enthusiasm of computer games.Key responsibilities:
1. Provide Administrative support to the Production Staff for a 60 person creative studio comprised of computer programmers, graphic artists and designers engaged in the development of next
-generation online games. Primary activities include attending production meetings, taking and distributing detailed notes while maintaining and organizing the files of the production team.
2. Activities conducted may include, but not be limited to, keeping track of Producers daily agenda, maintaining and posting information on company internal production websites, implementing creative team building projects and communication programs, scanning artwork into working files and burning and tracking CDs for developers.
3. Includes special projects as well as routine tasks such as filing, document preparation, managing office schedules, answering phones, working in databases to maintain critical contact lists, travel arrangements, etc.
4.Will research, interact with and manage vendors for production activities and special programs. Will also be responsible for coordinating tradeshows, interviews and team travel arrangements.
5.Supports the producers with the logistics, scheduling and other production support services and with the materials needed to execute assigned portions of software products.
6.Will play a significant role in organizing important team activities. Individual should be upbeat and have a high energy personality.Job Requirements:The ideal candidate will have a college degree or will be currently attending college
-level courses. Proficiency in spoken and written English is critical. The successful candidate will be highly competent with computers, Windows operating system, and thoroughly familiar with Microsoft Office software, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
