ESSENTIAL FUNCTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Work closely with research scientists and engineers from multidisciplinary teams on programs ranging from long
-term and exploratory research to applied research & development to serve many GE businesses;
* This position requires system design and integration of electrochemical/electrical processes, electrochemical process modeling, simulation, and optimization in application areas such as water purification and desalination, electrochemical energy storage;
* Work with team member to conduct system optimization and cost trade
-offs.QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
* PhD/MS in Chemical / Environmental Engineering, experiences in Water Chemistry and Water Processing Engineering is a plus;
* Industrial R&D experiences is preferred ;
* Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills to work effectively in a cross
-functional development team;
