· As a member of large team, person must pro-actively cooperate with R&D and Supply Chain and other cross-functional teams to do component management, testing and qualification.
· Provide component engineering support to drive the component qualification for better cost, delivery and quality.
· Determine the quality risk based on proposed part substitutions and support field issues analysis from the component engineering view.
· Work with cross-functional team to approve low risk component substitutions.
· Partner with core R&D for high risk substitution.
· Support sourcing team to do supplier assessment and promotion.
· Responsible to drive the supplier technical development and promotion.
· Team with R&D and PM to do technical support for external design activities as needed.
II. Qualifications
· MS student in Electronics or related science
· Fluency in English and Chinese (verbal and written)
