For our project team in Beijing Dongcun we are looking for an assistant project engineer.

Requirements:
• Engineering degree (min. BSc.) of a technical university with major mechanical, environmental or process technology
• Experience in engineering business is useful, but not mandatory.
• Fluent English in speaking and writing.
• Good PC skill and familiar with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD
• Willingness to work on construction sites is expected
• Good communication skills
• Good team player.

Responsibilities:
As part of a multinational team you act as an assistant in the site office of the Dongcun waste treatment plant and you will report directly to our Beijing project coordinator. You will support the engineering team, take care of administration and logistic tasks and prepare CAD drawing if required. After the construction you will take part in the commissioning of the plant. This will happen in close interaction with our Shanghai based office and our German based project management.

Project:
Based on the order of the YQB company Beijing, Biomax is building a municipal waste treatment plant with a capacity of 185,000 tons per year in Beijing Dongcun. The construction work has already started and will be finalized in 2008. In the plant the waste is treated with a biological process to create biogas as a renewable energy source. The used processes are built under the license of established European plant building companies. Therefore the project management is executed through our German sister company.
