Terminal Validation Engineer (Intern)  

OVERVIEW

 

We are seeking talented and motivated professionals to join a newly created R&D Center located in Shanghai. As a member of this team, you will  validate  advanced telecommunications products  (terminals) . You will contribute to the success of this challenge, by providing your expertise in  testing area .

 

 

MISSION

 

The  terminal  validation  engineer  is in charge of  e nsur ing  the reliability and performances conformity of the  terminal products  according to the specifications by performing the specified and appropriate validation tests .

 

 

He/she must continuously improve its technological expertise, as well as make propositions for improvements on technologies, methods, tools and processes.

 

 

As member of a  Validation  team, he/she works with a high team spirit and sharing capabilities. 

 

 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

 

¨  Ensuring required quality level and lead time for his /her  development

 

 

¨  Define and write the validation tests specifications based on the external  development specifications (full tests and non regression tests)

 

 

¨  Define the required tests environment and tools

 

 

¨  Perform the validation tests

 

 

¨  Identify and write the errors found. Follow-up and validation of the error reports.

 

 

¨  Improve permanently the existing tests strategy and the associated tests specifications

 

 

¨  Ensure follow-up, feed-back and report to the validation team leader

 

 

¨  Reports to the Test & Validation Competence Manager

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Mandatory

 

1.  Bachelor degree or above in  Telecommunication  or EE

 

 

2.  Basic knowledge about network protocols , TCP/IP

 

 

3.  Knowledge in Unix, Linux, Windows operating system

 

 

4.  English proficiency in reading, writing and speaking

 

 

5.  Good communication skills and teamwork spirit

 

 

6.  This position is provided for an intern. So we need him/her available to work at least  3  days per week for 2 months duration.

 

 

 

 

 

Nice to have

 

¨  Knowledge in PABX, PSTN, BT, data communication

 

 

¨  Good practice experience in university or other corporations

 

 

¨  General knowledge of telecommunication market
