KaiLong REI Investment Consulting (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. is a wholly owned American investment and asset management company focused on the Chinese real estate market. The company identifies, evaluates and executes real estate transactions for CarVal Investors, a global investment company and other large institutional investors (such as Citigroup, Secured Capital Japan and DEGI) and provides asset management services to those investors.

The Company has offices in Shanghai, Beijing and Hangzhou and the value of the assets under its management is approximately USD 1 billion. In view of the rapid growth of our business, we are looking for candidates for the following positions:

Position:  Financial Analysts

Report to:   Vice President – Acquisition

Responsibilities:

?        To support acquisition team in sourcing, underwriting, performing due diligence and to close real estate transactions and to achieve targeted performance criteria

?        Financial / cash flow analysis on targeted properties/projects

?        Run multiple scenarios and multiple projects concurrently

?        Review and follow up the progress of due diligence reports

?        Ensure that documents are tracked and stored according to company policy

?        Support acquisitions team in obtaining all required management approvals for transactions, including preparation of investment committee reports and presentations

?        Assist in ensuring efficient transfer of acquired properties to asset management team

?        Ad hoc projects as needed

Requirements:

?        Bachelor degree or above with major in finance, economics, real estate or the related fields

?        Knowledge of multiple product types preferred (e.g., office, retail and residential)

?        Solid knowledge of financial and valuation concepts (IRR, Capitalization Rates, Net Present Value, etc)

?        Must be able to work as part of an investment management team that includes the disciplines of acquisitions, research, asset management, and marketing

?        Must possess a strong desire to learn about real estate investment, development and asset management

?        Proficiency with a broad range of analytical/presentation tools and technology, such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and the Internet

?        Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese with good interpersonal skill and positive personality

?        Practical knowledge of Argus will be a major plus

?        Able to work effectively with individuals at all levels
