Education Requirements
Bachelor, Master, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or related majors (e.g. information technology, electronic engineering, mathematics, etc.)


Experience Requirements
· At least 4 years of J2EE development experience
· Knowledgeable in latest J2EE technologies in software engineering
· Experience in system architecture of J2EE projects is a strong plus.
· Knowledgeable in software development life cycle and quality processes
· Experience of developing manufacturing system is a plus

Familiar to UML and other mainstream development and design tools.

The Architect is responsible for overseeing the technical design of project modules and products. The Architect will act as the lead designer for the project and will have supporting authority over all product architecture decisions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities would include:
· Define the product architecture with the product development team members.
· Recommend development methodologies and development and coding standards.
· Participate in all product design meetings.
· Participate in developer interviews.
· Conduct and/or schedule technology research with the Director of Development.
· Define technologies to be used on the project (subject to PM & Marketing requirements).
· Define development tools to be used on the project.
· Product marketing requirements and product definition.
· Product functional requirements definition and documentation.
· Detailed Design responsibilities associated to supporting education of other team members in the correct creation of specifications, etc. ss

Qualificationsyour profile

· Bachelors (undergraduate) degree in computer science, information systems, electrical engineering or equivalent experience is required, but a Masters (graduate) degree is highly preferred.
· Must have a minimum of 5+ years development experience (preferably using Microsoft .Net, C#,ASP, or similar language).
· Must have a minimum of 5+ years implementing/using OOD development standards and practices. Must have a minimum of 5+ years experience with SQL and RDBMS.
· Experience in product demonstrations, customer training and product installation
· Detailed knowledge of key customer types or customers on given products
· Experience with business plan development, full software development life cycle (SDLC)
· Software development, testing methodologies, and selling of solutions
· Strong communication and negotiation skills
· Possess creative ability, consulting skills, leadership qualities, credibility, self-confidence
