Project Engineer
Position Summary:
The Project Engineer will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the vendors and contractors ensuring the construction projects are executed in time at the right quality level and within the budget.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and evaluating deliverables, plans and criteria for a variety of projects and activities to be carried out by vendors and contractors
- Communicate and coordinate all aspects of the project with the vendors and contractors
- Providing English translation for foreign project members
- Assessing the feasibility and soundness of proposed evaluation tests, products, or equipment, when necessary data are insufficient or confirmation by testing is advisable
- Be responsible for the development of numerous pieces of documentation including Land Information Packages, Design Basis Memorandums, Construction Scope of Work, Construction Binders, Procurement Requisitions
- Be responsible for documenting and tracking Project Scope Changes and receiving Covanta’s Approvals
- Develop and Report on Costs and Schedules
- Make Site Visits for Initial Scoping and Construction Review Meetings
- Representing the company in conferences to resolve important questions and to plan and coordinate work.
- Perform other tasks as directed
This position will report directly to the VP & CTO APAC.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above in M&E or Civil Engineering
- Fresh Graduate with engineering education background is acceptable
- Fluent English is a MUST
- Oversea education experience is preferable
- Well-organized and efficient, able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks under pressure for deadlines
- Team player with good relationship and networking skills
- Strong problem solving skills and “can do” attitude
- Mature with sense of responsibility, priority and confidentiality
- Excellent MS Word, Excel, PPT
