Position summary
The Tactical Marketing position covers a wide breath of knowledge and communication capability. Ability to manage customer communications on Request for Quote and Volume Pricing Agreements to driving and coordinating customer change management programs requires a broad Freescale portfolio knowledge, as well as internal factory strategy knowledge.
Main Responsibility
-Provide execution support for customer's new products (safe launch)
-First Line contact for sales to address/resolve all customer requests for information and issues (excluding order management).
-Quote and approve FSL pricing for Automotive, Consumer and Industrial business within SOX compliant guidelines
-Manage data and accuracy of systems such as Blue Chip, Ship & Credit, CSS/OP quotes, Global Pricing
-Drive communication, tracking and execution of NPI and Factory Change sample needs
-Drive strategy and implementation of change management programs across the customer base
-Create standard customer communication packages; requires cross-functional coordination of technical information
-Deliver customer communication and discussions on both issues and change management projects
-Manage conversion timeline and deliverables of samples and volume ramp conversion management with sales/customer
-Coordinate appropriate engineering and quality discussions, escalate and drive removal of road blocks
-Drive Volume Price Agreement process and closure; perform customer volume analysis
-Respond to customer RFQ's (for existing devices) and approve CSS/OP contract pricing
-Partner with GTM & PM for NPI RFQ's (new features)
-Provide marketing input for products and price competitiveness
-Interact with engineering, product mgmt, and customers to provide input at product review meetings and sales presentations
-Maintain expertise on products and technologies through training and research
-Drive product portfolio execution
-Execute business model changes; performs administration (EDAC, specifications, etc.)
-Investigate customer impact of pending decisions
-Execute portfolio decisions with sales (EOL, EPP, X-Fers, etc.)
-Manage and improve minimum order quantities and make to order strategies
Qualification
-Master student majored in marketing or business management related
-This role requires strong communication skills, verbal and written.
-Effective delivery of presentations and general marketing messages is a must. Ability to lead problem solving activities is key.
-Technical experience with MCUs; test, product engineering, fabrication, or applications are highly desired.
-Technical or product marketing experience is desired. Routine travel is required.
-The ideal candidate is customer service oriented and highly motivated with a positive outlook.
-Ability to work under customer tenuous circumstances is required.
