Position Overview

Cisco-webex Hefei Web department was established in year 2000, starting working on Saas version of online meeting system. During the past 10 years, it delivered most of key WebEx web products. Now, there’re 5M user starts 250k meetings everyday in our worldwide distributed web system which includes 8 datacenters, 50 clusters and 4000 servers. And the service was delivered as one of most successfully Saas application, with 99.9999% high availability (and with global HA implemented) and internationalization ready.

Position Functions

Cisco-webex keeps developing new products/features and adopts new technologies. Now, to support various collaboration features, we are now building a powerful platform with service oriented, distributed and scaled new platform to support flexiable object modeling, distributed data accessing with high scalability and performance, and various functionalities. The platform was just started for 1 year and we need you contribute your brilliant ideas.

Currently, from data accessing side we need interns working on below sides:

1)Parallel ETL
2)MySQL clustering
3)Hadoop

And from application side we need interns for Web2.0 UI and J2EE web applications also.

Job Requirements:

- Master or PHD, at least 3 days per week and more than 6 months working, Major in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred.

-Be familiar with Java is a big plus.

-Experience with project management is a big plus.

-Be familiar with web development is a plus.
