Position Overview
Client Department in Cisco (China) HF branch was built in 2000 with a goal of providing world class client applications.
Now client department is focusing on development of Cisco WebEx mobile applications. Mobile client will provide the entry for smart phone or tablet user to experience the Instant Messaging, Web conferencing, video conferencing, e-mail, calendaring. More fantastic and wild applications on mobile devices based on Cisco collaboration platform are under construction.
The client development on mobile devices is a very important position in Cisco, people in this position should be able to:
- Work independently and collaborate with Cisco worldwide architects to get deep understanding of business requirements, technical requirements and technical operation requirements.
- Provide feasible design for high performance and high availability mobile application creation, upgrade, transformation, integration and optimization.
- Demonstrate strong technical leadership to development team and work closely with project management, QA, and technical operation teams across the world.
Job Requirements:
-Master or PHD, at least 3 days per week and more than 6 months working.
- Be interested in design, development and implementation of high performance desktop, server or mobile applications.
- Well practiced on programming language, including but not limited to C , Java, Object-C.
- Be interested in modeling, design patterns, refactoring, unit test. Known and practiced on the agile methodology, such as SCRUM, Extreme Programming (XP), Test Driven Development (TDD), etc.
- Deep understanding of IT trends, keeping eyes on emerging technologies in the areas of mobile internet, audio/video tech, etc.
- Major in computer science or related.
- Excellent written and good spoken communication skills in English.
