Associate Professor (副教授) / Lecturer （讲师）

I.    Responsibilities:

1. Take a leadership role in a small research group (2-3 persons) and conduct a pioneer research on the advanced healthcare information system, web mining, location-based social network and medical imaging applications
2. Work closely with a multidisciplinary research team in design and implementation of medical imaging, advanced application for internet computing and SOA based software.
3. Initiate the prototyping of complete solutions to enhance the market values in healthcare IT or social networking.
4. Responsible for research and innovation process. Assist in the design and
   contribute to the continuous improvement process
5. Draft the research proposals to application for state key funding project

II. Qualifications:

1.      Strong research and working experience at least in one of the following contexts:

a.       Image enhancement and 2-D image analysis

b.      Image segmentation and registration

c.       Computerized algorithms, particularly familiar with discrete optimization and nonlinear optimization and signal processing algorithms.

d.      Machine learning and artificial intelligence, i.e., in classification algorithm including Bayesian Network, Support Vector Machine, Manifold Learning and etc.

e.       Video object tracking, web mining and mobile computing

f.       Electronic hardware design and circuit analysis of medical image equipment: Schematic design, PCB Layout and Experience with embedded designs using Microcontroller (MCU, DSP or ARM).

2.      Excellent programming skills in C language or Java, Python and PHP, good understanding of design and analysis of algorithms and good at software development.

3.      Original thinking and excellent analytical ability are desirable.

4.      Be with strong initiative and ability to solve problems.

5.      PhD degree from top Chinese universities or overseas in CS, EE, BME or Math but with a strong publication record or master degree with over 12 years of industrial experience

6.      3 years of related working experience at minimum after PhD degree is granted.

上海电机学院简介

上海电机学院隶属于上海电气（集团）总公司，是一所以工学为主，经、管、文等学科协调发展的全日制普通本科院校。学校前身是创建于1953年的上海电机制造学校，在五、六十年代就成为第一机械工业部直属重点院校；1985年在全国首批试点举办五年制技术专科教育；2002年被列为国家重点建设高职高专院校；2004年9月，经上海市人民政府批准，升格为本科院校。

学校拥有闵行、杨浦两大主校区，目前正积极努力建设临港新校区。学校现有全日制在校本专科学生12000余人，2500多名在读的成人教育本专科生。现有教职工950余人，副高以上职称教师占34%，硕士以上学位教师占75%。学校现有4个学科门类，23个本科专业，有上海市教委重点建设学科2个、国家级特色专业建设点2个、上海市特色专业建设点6个、上海市本科精品课程2门、本科全英语课程3门、上海市本科重点课程19门、上海市级示范性实验中心1个、上海市级教学团队3个。学校通过引进与培养并举的方式打造高素质技术应用型师资队伍，拥有东方学者、上海市高等学校教学名师、上海市模范教师、“宝钢”优秀教师及上海市育才奖教师等一批具有良好专业能力和职业素养的优秀教师。

电气学院简介

电气学院原名电气工程系，成立于1953年，是我校历史最悠久、综合实力最强的二级学院之一，学院位于闵行校区本部——江川路690号。学院下设电气工程系、自动化系、测控工程系、电工电子教学部和实验中心等部门；拥有上海市教委重点建设学科“电力电子与电力传动”，上海市教委教育高地“电气工程及其自动化”；有 “电气工程及其自动化”、“电气工程及其自动化（轨道交通）”、“电气工程及其自动化（电力系统）”、“电气工程及其自动化（电机与控制）”、“自动化”、“测控技术与仪器（智能检测与控制）”共6个本科专业。

学院主要培养德、智、体全面发展、具有较强技术理论基础和技术应用能力，能够在工程开发中进行技术规划、提供技术保障和技术支持，在工程实施中完成工程项目工艺的实现、系统运行的调试，服务于生产、管理第一线的应用型高级工程技术人才。

学院现有教职员工60余名，其中教授8人、副教授15人，具有博士、硕士学位以上教师40人；学院拥有上海市教学名师2人，有上海市育才奖获得者4人；同时学院还拥有一支高水平的、来自于企业的兼职教师队伍，加强学生技术应用能力的培养。学院积极贯彻与落实“技术立校，应用为本”的办学方针，坚持“育人为先”的教育理念，十分注重培养的学生科创能力，现已建立电子技术、测控技术、电机控制技术等多个学生科创团队，有10多个大学生社团。2007年，由我院教师指导的学生在第十届“挑战杯”全国大学生课外学术科技作品竞赛中分获二、三等奖。学院办学特色鲜明，专业定位准确，近年来向上海电气集团、上海汽车集团、上海宝钢集团、上海振华港机等单位输送了大批德、智、体全面发展的技术应用型人才，学生毕业就业率始终保持在97%以上。
