1.Laboratory Intern
Overall Responsibilities:
Provides assistance to the Senior Technician and cooperate with Lab Assistant to complete general laboratory works for Technical Service. Conducts laboratory tests according to Senior Technician and Lab Assistant. Assists in maintenance of sample stock of Troy product samples and assists supervisor with sample preparation and technical service as well as maintenance of laboratory chemicals, safe disposal of over-aged chemicals, microbiology and application test systems. Ensure safety of all laboratory equipment.

Specific Duties:
Prepares samples (weighting, mixing, leaching, cutting), media, reagents and other materials for testing
Register incoming Customer Samples on a database, labeling of all Customer Samples, documenting Safety Data Information
Labels Test samples according to test plans, prepares samples for testing by supervisor, documents the weights on tables
Performs simple test procedures like sample description, pH determination, plates streaking
Receives lab chemicals and supplies
Takes photos of the laboratory projects
Responsible for the general cleanliness of the laboratory and storage container
Keeps the samples tested in order and responsible for the disposal of tested materials
Carries out other related tasks or special duties as deemed necessary
Education and Experience:
1. Minimum - High School Diploma, College degree in Science preferred
2. Good English speaking and writing skills
3. Team player
Supervision Given and Received:
Decisions can be made in line with specific authorization given by the Supervisor or Lab assistant.
2Technical Service Laboratory Assistant
Overall Responsibilities:

Conducts technical service laboratory tests according to lab work request test design and Troy Standard Operation Procedures on advice of their supervisor. Assists in maintenance of sample stock of Troy product samples and assists supervisor with sample preparation and technical service as well as maintenance of laboratory chemicals, safe disposal of over-aged chemicals, microbiology and application test systems. Ensures safety of all laboratory equipment.

Education and Experience:

4. Two years laboratory experience, preferably in Microbiology and/or paint industry. |
