Today, ARGO has privately owned offices in the center of Athens with branches in Thessaloniki in Greece, Geneva in Switzerland and London in the United Kingdom and the new branch office is already established in Shanghai, with a total work force of 80 staff. After setting up its Representative Office in early 2012 and after the initial success in handling many Chinese travelers, Argo Travel is now preparing to expand its presence in China; therefore, we are now offering a position of Sales Assistant to be based in Shanghai according to the following Job Description.
 
Title:                                         Sales Assistant
Reporting to:                         The Marketing Manager of Argo Shanghai
Place of work:                        Downtown Shanghai
Office Hour:                           9:00AM-18:00PM from Monday to Friday, overwork is seldom required.
Probation period:                3 Months
Salary:                                      3000RMB-5000RMB (according to actual experience) plus social benefits
 
Job Description:
1.      Perform secretarial functions for the Shanghai Office Manager
2.      Perform administrative functions such as ordering stationery, office supplies sending mails/couriers and office equipment maintenance
3.      Translate and edit some tourism documents
4.      Communicate with our partner agencies in China mainly for following up orders of Free Independent Travelers (FIT)
5.      Communicate with HQ in Athens - passing information from China’s side to Athens and vice versa.
6.      Other coordinate work between HQ in Athens and Chinese wholesalers as needed
7.      Other assignments from the Shanghai Office Manager
 
Requirements:
1.      Bachelor or college degree.
2.      Age: 22 - 26 years.
3.      One year working experience in tourism industry would be a plus.
4.      Good communication in English (both oral and written skills, with at least CET 6 certificate).
5.      Expert knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
6.      Diligent, communicative and detail-focused
7.      Can work independently and work under pressure
