Main job duties of analysts include:
- Search and analyze innovations in materials science and life science-related industries in China, including but not limited to consumer goods (personal care, home care, foods), medical devices, industrials, energy and clean technologies, advanced materials etc. 
- Interface with universities, science parks, small and medium size companies 
- Technology analysis and competition analysis 
- Attend industry conferences and forums 
- Assist associates in other required industry analysis
Qualifications of the position include:
- Strong academic background from a reputable university, M.S. or above in a scientific discipline
- Excellent abilities to collect, organize, analyze and present information 
- Good communication skills in both Chinese and English
- High energy level, motivated and able to handle pressure 
- Outgoing and pleasant personality 
- Overseas education and work experience is plus 
- Previous work experience as analyst in investment or consulting industry is a plus
