••Applied Research Operation Specialist

Job Requirement:

Education:

• Master’s degree in finance, economics, or financial engineering

Required Skills

• Understand financial information and markets and the future direction of the industry.

• Understand principles of usability and helps ensure products are fit for purpose on a

daily basis.

• Strong problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills

• Customer and quality focused with excellent attention to detail

• Proven ability to learn complex software from both the user perspective and that of the

developer

• Demonstrate a clear understanding of different types of testing and the role each plays

in the QA process

• Understand QA best practice and ensures these practices are used on a daily basis.

Desired Skills

• 3-5 years' experience in investment management institutions or client service

environment

• Experience using MSCI Barra, and other portfolio analytics and risk management

products

• Experience with Wilshire Analytics Performance and Risk Products

Certifications

• CFA and/or FRM designation strongly preferred

••Index Developer

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• A thorough understanding of Tables, Stored Procedures, Indexes, Transactions, Views

• SQL Server, T-SQL and Microsoft Excel skills

• Financial industry knowledge

• Knowledge on Data integrity and database design is a plus

• Clear and effective oral and written communication skills

• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing dynamic environment

• Self-directed and detail-oriented

• Must be able to work effectively as an individual and in a team environment

••QA Analyst

A master’s degree is required. A degree in finance or related field is preferred. Strong IT

skills and math/quantitative background is a plus. Must be a team player and be able to

work independently with minimal supervision.  Must have excellent communication

skills and also have strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

••UI Design Analyst

• Minimum 3-5 years practicing user experience design

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
