Purpose of Job
The Web Hosting Team manages the web Infrastructure for all Mars' Internet & Intranet (MarsWeb) applications. The team provides hosting for nearly 1,500 external Mars websites ranging from small promotional websites running on open source platforms to complex windows based eCommerce applications. Working in the Web Hosting team you will be responsible for the day to day operational support of web hosting activities in the Asia-Pac region as well as supporting activities in Europe and Americas where needed.
Operational work
·Web application inventory maintenance
·Web application status monitoring
·Credential maintenance
·Web hosting charge invoicing
·Website creation and decommission
·Documentation of missing or out of date processes and procedures.
Personal Profile
·Good English reading and writing skills.
·Have a keen interest in Web and Internet technologies.
·The role requires good technical, analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills.
·Good self-management: well organized, good time and task planning, good workload management, reliable at meeting deadlines.
Technical Experience
Applicant should have a good general understanding of Internet technologies. Desired skills should include several of the following:
·Microsoft Office skill: Word and Excel mainly
·VB Script
·Microsoft Windows Server Technologies
·Microsoft IIS
·DNS
·Apache Web server
·UNIX Technologies
·MS SQL Server
·Networking technologies
Require working days: 4 days per week, 8 hours per day.
Internship duration: 6 months
