RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.New production part development (part number assignment, drawing release, qualification and PPAP approval) to meet project cost and timing requirements
2.Maintain and update component specifications and component database preference status according to Delphi component spec requirement and technology development
3.Evaluate and qualify Supplier Change Requests (SCR) to mitigate risks and maximize cost saving across product lines
4.Technical support to global design centers and manufacturing sites on part selection, design, application, failure analysis, problem solving, part shortages and MCIP activities.

REQUIREMENTS:
1.BS Electrical Engineering, MS Electrical Engineering preferred
2.Component engineering, product engineering, manufacturing engineering or quality assurance experience.
3.Hands-on experience and expertise on semiconductor components – working theory, design, manufacturing, testing, application and failure analysis of semiconductors from both technical and business point of view
4.Good understanding of automotive Product Development, Supplier Change Management, PPAP process , common automotive quality procedures and AEC specifications (TS16949, AEC-Q101,AEC-Q100,etc)
5.Knowledge of JEDEC qualification standards
6.Understanding of semiconductor product development methodology, wafer fabrication, part assembly and test processes
7.Familiar with common lab equipment such as power suppliers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, curve tracers, DVM’s, etc.
9.Experience of using Lean, Six Sigma or other problem solving tools. Demonstrated knowledge of probability, statistical quality control and design of experiments. Green Belt certification is a plus.
9.Fluent in spoken English and written English, good analytical, interpersonal, presentation skills
