Job Responsibilities
-Develop high-performance low-power radio frequency (RF)/analog circuits for today’s highly sophisticated CMOS RF transceiver products, using state-of-the-art deep sub-micron CMOS technologies. These products include RF/Baseband transceivers for Wireless LAN, MIMO, BT, GPS, Zigbee and many other emerging mobile communication applications.
-Responsible for the design of RF, analog, and mixed signal circuits in RF wireless transceivers including Opamp, Filter, VCO, PFD, PA, Mixer, LNA, PLL, Bandgap, Regulators, ADC/DAC, impedance matching network and other on-chip passive components.
-Responsibilities include performing modeling, simulation, layout and bench verification of designed circuit blocks as well as validating the circuit blocks in the complete system environments in which these circuits are part of.
Job Requirement
-Master degree of microwave, electronics or electrical
-Familiar with EDA tools such as Cadence, Spectre, Virtuoso, ADS and etc.
-Coding ability such as C, C++, VB and Perl will be a plus.
-Good English reading/writing skill
About Transceiver (Optional)
Our group is called “Transceiver Technology Group” which focuses on wireless transceiver design. The wireless transceiver is the “Front-end” block of physical layer in a wireless communication system. It’s responsible for transmitting and receiving RF frequency signals. When transmit, it converts low frequency baseband signal to high frequency RF signal with enough output power. When receive, it converts RF signal to baseband signal without degrading signal quality.
