Job Responsibilities
-Closely work with circuit designers to bring up, debug and fully characterize the performance on various RFICs related to WiFi, BT, GPS and Zigbee products.Measure signals and parameters of the circuit and system hardware using test equipment including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and power meters. Perform analysis of the measurement data.
-Perform detailed analysis of component selection for different areas of hardware design. Simulate, model and optimize various PCB circuits and packages for best RF performance.
-Design and maintain automatic RF test environment.
Job Requirement
-Master degree of microwave, electronics or electrical
-Familiar with EDA tools such as HFSS, ADS and etc.
-Coding ability such as C, C++, VB and Perl will be a plus.
-Good English reading/writing skill
About Transceiver (Optional)
Our group is called “Transceiver Technology Group” which focuses on wireless transceiver design. The wireless transceiver is the “Front-end” block of physical layer in a wireless communication system. It’s responsible for transmitting and receiving RF frequency signals. When transmit, it converts low frequency baseband signal to high frequency RF signal with enough output power. When receive, it converts RF signal to baseband signal without degrading signal quality.
