Responsibilities:
-Track Delphi Global Supply Management's performance to PDP timing, including sourcing, PPAP and Run at Rate dates for each purchased part, as well as to business case (new and current parts) on new programs. Provide input to project management system that tracks program timing.
-Accomplished by working proactively with buyers and AQEs to communicate and develop the program plan and commitments. Should be checking the program Key Process Indicators (KPIs) periodically to understand how well the program is doing with respect to meeting the deliverables
-Complete purchased part risk assessment stage 0 with Engineering and Supplier Quality input.
-Organize & lead Kick-off and Key-Stakeholders meetings.
-Conduct segmentation process on purchased material for all new programs. Develop readiness, quality, and sourcing strategies for each purchased component, including carry-over parts, in collaboration with project teams, supplier quality, and category buyers.
-Provide input to PI-99 and appropriations requests.
-Support assigned Customer Response Teams, including answering CCDs and QRFs on all new and current parts.
-Represent the purchasing function to all assigned project and product teams.
-Utilize all available tools (value stream mapping, VA/VE, etc.) early in product development to influence design and sourcing to reduce cost and improve quality.
-Responsible to communicate engineering changes on current parts to category buyers.
-Ensure re-use of carryover parts on new programs is communicated to category buyers from the project teams.
-Collaborate with the category buyer and BBC team on all sourcing decisions on identifying opportunities for link and leverage, for best cost country sourcing and localization.
-Support product line MCIP strategy sessions and ensure that design initiative within your product line are implemented according to MCIP Database timing.
- Check all administrative tasks are completed to ensure on-time PO issuance for tooling, prototype, etc. and provide assistance as necessary.
-Define, develop, train, and implement new model launch readiness process; apply selectively to critical programs. Responsible to execute Purchasing Program Management to achieve flawless launch and facilitate the Early/Strategic Sourcing Plan & Flawless Launch Plan
-To escalate potential plan and timing misses to PLPM/GSM leaders and to Program Management Project Leader
-Perform activities with high integrity, in compliance with Global, Divisional and Site procedures & systems requirements and Delphi fundamental principles as lean, First Time Quality, The Guide, etc.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor degree or above in engineering/business
-Expert in Program management skill and problem solving process (5 Why, root cause analysis etc.)
-Fluent English language
-Willing to travel and work under pressure
-Strong organizational, leadership, analytical and communication skills. Relationship-builder with high integrity
-Change Management leader experience in other functions (Engineering, Manufacturing, etc) or another company.
