Position Description                                                                                                        

Purpose of the Position:

Provides mechanical design solutions for existing and new equipment/process; analyzes and advances equipment reliability for continuous improvement and cost advantages.Day to Day Responsibilities:
-Provide day-to-day problem solving support to production, quality, and technology
-Train trainers and technicians on new equipment and processes
-Identify root cause and implements corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
-Implement and document through change management any material, process and/or equipment changes
-Use statistical methodologies for problem solving and improvements
-Perform capability study for processes and products
-Support new product introductions through equipment installation, execution of process certification plans, documentation, and training.
-Participate or lead product line improvement projects using manufacturing engineering excellence methodologies/tools
-Perform technology synchronization projects with other plants
-Perform capability studies  for processes and products and establish roadmap for improvement in equipment designs, or way of maintaining/improving their performance

Project involved with:
-Performance improvement
-Cost reduction
-Technology synchronization, receiving.

Education & Experience 
-Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering
-project experience in manufacturing environment is a strong plus
-Solid knowledge of mechanical design, materials and structural design
-Experience with equipment designing preferred
