Position Description                                                                                                        

Purpose of the Position:

Continue to drive for engineering design and project proficiency through encompassing solid technical strength, scientific analysis  and effective execution, to support manufacturing strategy and needs.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
-Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining methods, operation sequence and processes in the fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies
-Estimate manufacturing cost, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines
-As required, maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations
-Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors
-Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
-Provide engineering skills and solutions to achieve production goals
-Assist and lead in the identification and resolution of product quality issues
-Design process experiments to determine and optimize important process variables and product parameters
-Participate on and/or lead 6-sigma DMAIC or DESGN Performance Excellence projects.  Use data tools such as KT, DMAIC, and others to drive continuous improvement

-Technology synchronization, receiving.

Education & Experience 
-Bachelor and /or above
-Knowledge of industry process or equipment development
-Familiar with process/quality/cost control and improvement tools e.g. SPC, DOE, FMEA, MCV
