-          Develop prospective customers domestically and internationally by making cold calls on a daily basis

The Marketing Analyst will support Smith & Associates’ Marketing and Public Relations activities working under the direction of the Asia Marketing Specialist and VP of Marketing.  The ideal candidate is highly-motivated, eager to learn, detail-oriented, and has a passion for marketing and translation. A willingness to complete administrative tasks, the ability to work under minimal supervision, and enthusiasm to support the sales team will also be key.

Marketing Analyst responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist with copywriting, editing, design, and creation of marketing and media materials content, internal and external, to include e-mail campaigns, advertising, direct mail, customer proposals and presentations, press releases, business cards, standard business templates, etc. 
• Translate external marketing and internal communication materials.
• Coordinate with Smith's operations team and 15 global offices to track and ship marketing materials and promotional items.
• Complete administrative tasks including printing and binding of presentations, meeting set-up and clean-up, and oversee organization of promotional items.
• Compose articles for an internal electronic newsletter. 
• Maintain database of customer and industry contacts for marketing campaigns.
• Organize and attend domestic and international electronics trade shows.
• Source, monitor, and replenish promotional items.
• Manage corporate WeChat account.
• Complete vendor qualification forms, audits, and quality forms and assist Content Marketing Manager with RFI’s, RFP’s, and RFQ’s for global sales team.
• Assist local sales offices with special project and tasks, as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or related field
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with fluency in English and Mandarin, Cantonese a plus.
• Strong translation skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships
• Attention to detail
• Excellent computer skills with experience in Adobe Creative Suite or other desktop publishing tools, MS Office focusing on PowerPoint
• Team player and creative problem solver
• Experience with Business to Business operations preferred
